Hi friends... In this video, I'm going to be breeding yellow glofish. However, I encountered a problem: the female parent was too aggressive, causing the male to chase her during spawning. There's no exact science on how to solve this problem, but I'm sharing my experience on my farm. If anyone has more experience, please correct me. The method I use is: 1. Add two males to the spawning pool. If the males fight, remove one and let it spawn. Always monitor the development of the broodstock (you can add a different color male). 2. If this still doesn't work, separate the male and female broodstock and raise them for 4-7 days, feeding them silkworms, frozen worms, or mosquito larvae. Then, rejoin the fish with water that has been left to settle for at least one day and add methylene blue and fish salt to taste. Use a room light (the reason for separating them is because the glofish were already in the same aquarium before spawning, making them unwilling to spawn). 3. If that doesn't work, try changing the pair, whether male or female, even if they have different colors. 4. If that still doesn't work, it means the parents aren't ready to spawn (this doesn't mean they can't spawn). It's best to keep them in the care for another month. Glofish spawning requires patience and don't rush to achieve the desired results. Hope this helps.
