Is it still possible to find a completely empty beach on the Baltic Sea in the middle of the summer season? Without crowds, beach screens, and crowded entrances? On the Vistula Spit, we found a place that truly looks unique. We are exactly 1,800 meters from the vast, wide beach. It's about a 25-minute walk or a 5-minute bike ride. It's impossible to get there by car, which is probably one of the reasons why, even in summer, you can have almost the entire beach to yourself. The popular R11 cycling route also runs along the way. Our base was Dobisówka—a family-run holiday resort with a cozy campsite. For years, the place was run by the grandfather of the current owner, who is now trying to restore it to its former glory. A stay at the campsite costs 120 PLN per night, including electricity, regardless of the number of people. This is a truly competitive rate for this part of the Polish coast.
