Fränkische Schneebälle - Franconian Snowballs - Traditional Recipe - Christmas Treat - Rothenburg

Today I am showing you, how I make Schneebälle. They are a traditional sweet in Franconia (North Bavaria) and parts of Austria. I have very fond memories of getting these with my grandma, I lost her over 10 years ago, but I still vividly remember how we went to beach volleyball matches in her village together and bough Schneebälle there. Another memory I have with this treat, are my trips to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, where there a millions of Schneeball Shops.
