The struggle for global supremacy not only affects these two powers but also has significant repercussions in key regions such as the Indo-Pacific and Africa. Furthermore, regional conflicts and local tensions continue to be sources of instability for global security. The influence of technology and information also constitutes a crucial factor in the contemporary geostrategic landscape. Information manipulation and disinformation are increasingly used tactics by state and non-state actors to influence armed conflicts, political processes, and destabilize adversaries. Inevitably, this leads to significant changes in security and defense, making it an important point on the political agenda of various governments. With this in mind, the main objective of these sessions is to create a framework for reflection on the need to delve deeper into the challenges facing global defense and security in the changing landscape of 2024.
