In order to realize a simple space, the pillars are concentrated into four in the center of the building. The floors and walls of the first and second floors, as well as the roof, are supported by beams that extend horizontally from these four pillars. This eliminates the need for the walls of the first and second floors to support the loads of the second floor and roof, respectively, and allows for long, narrow slit windows that allow light to enter from anywhere in a 360-degree angle.
