【解説】浮いているガレージハウスを建てる方法【ルームツアー】

Located in the urban area of Takamatsu, this house is for a couple and their one child. The client requested that the site be used as spacious as possible, that a courtyard be provided to ensure privacy, that the house be a garage where the owner can look at the car, that the use of wood and other materials be avoided, and that the house be constructed of reinforced concrete (RC). The LDK, where daily life takes place, was placed in the center of the site, and from there, the space was considered based on the concept of spreading out over the entire site. The building consists of four exterior walls that enclose the entire site, an exterior atrium that serves as a courtyard at the four corners, and an interior atrium in the center. The four corners and the central atrium bring light into the interior spaces in a bright and even manner. This allows the LDK to feel spacious and bright even though it is located on the first floor. Moreover, by bringing the exterior space into the interior of the building in the form of the four corner stairwells, a sense of connection and expansion with the exterior space is realized while ensuring privacy. In order to realize a simple space, the pillars are concentrated into four in the center of the building. The floors and walls of the first and second floors, as well as the roof, are supported by beams that extend horizontally from these four pillars. This eliminates the need for the walls of the first and second floors to support the loads of the second floor and roof, respectively, and allows for long, narrow slit windows that allow light to enter from anywhere in a 360-degree angle. As a result, the building is now able to provide both more spaciousness and privacy, and also allows the building to be seen from the outside. The space is marvelous. Architecture is space, and space is scenery. A view is an experience and a memory. Architecture may be complete, but space is not, space is never finished. The scenery that a space presents changes with people, time, and nature, changes with people, time, and nature, and is never completed, but it is completed in the experience and memory of each moment. but in the experience and memory of each moment, it is completed. The scenery that changes its expression spreads out, and a space that gently melts into memory. We create a space that gently melts into memory.
