Mixhouse Vs. Dodo & The Dodos. Vers. 2.0. Megamix by Jonas Mix Larsen.

Dodo & The Dodos is a Danish pop rock band, which was formed in 1986 and found in Danish radio in the 1980s with, among others, well-known songs like "Wake in the Night", "Sailor of the World", "We Do What We Can," "Live Life Now" and "The Girl with the Red Hair". "Live life now" was used by the TV2 sport under the cover of the 1992 Summer Olympics. Dodo & The Dodos have sold over 800,000 albums. The band's music has been described as "radio-loving pop with events that could be danced to and all of which could be used to sing along with" by Peter Schollert, musician from Jyllands-Posten. The predecessor Dodo Gad also recorded the legendary football song "Re-sepp-ten" for the World Cup in 1986 in 1986 with the football country team, where Steen Christiansen (keyboards, guitar) was the programmer and studio musician and Anders Valbro (guitar) and Jens Rud (vocal) studio technicians. Twelve years later, Dodo Gad again recorded a song for a final round ("We want the victory in the country"), which did not become as great a success, but has become a classic. The band is still a popular live band, and it often plays at festivals and outdoor concerts around Denmark. [Source is missing] In August 2007, Dodo & The Dodos won a lawsuit against their former record company Sony BMG, which meant that the company should not sell the band's music for digital download on the Internet. The case started when Sony BMG sent a letter in 2002 to approx. 400 of their artists that they would start distributing their music digitally. Dodo & The Dodos did not think that Sony BMG had the right to publish their music digitally, as the contract band in the meantime entered the record company only mentioned on CD and LP. Dodo & The Dodos released the album Upgrade in their own company Pink River Music in 2015. The album is replaying previously released songs, including "Give Me What You Have" and "Wake Up In The Night". This is the first time that the group's music has become available digitally.
