An animated past vs present look at the lost Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway line that ran from Melton Constable to Holt & onwards to Sheringham! (Including the popular North Norfolk Railway). #meltonconstable #holt #norfolk #railway #sheringham Construction began in April 1883 and later that year the rails had reached Holt, five miles from Melton Constable, but work on the station and yard did not begin until much later.
