How I Make Tabletop Trees

-------------------- Description After releasing my magnetic grassland game board, a lot of you asked how I made the trees. So... here's the full tutorial. In this video, I show you how I take a simple 3D printed tree and turn it into a finished tabletop tree using inexpensive materials like poly fill, Woodland Scenics flocking, oil washes, and static ground cover. These trees are perfect for Frostgrave, Rangers of Shadow Deep, Dungeons & Dragons, and other tabletop games. Whether you're printing your own trees or starting with sticks from your backyard, the same techniques can be used to create great-looking terrain for your gaming table. What's in this build? Painting and weathering a 3D printed tree Oil washes for added depth and contrast Sand and flocking for realistic tree bases Poly fill canopy technique Layered Woodland Scenics foliage Matte varnish to lock everything in place These trees are lightweight, durable, and inexpensive to make, making them a great addition to almost any tabletop battlefield.
