NORTH NORFOLK MORRIS MINOR RUN 5th Oct 2025 part 1
Every year the North Norfolk Morris Minor Owners Club, hold an end of season run. It is named after one of the original members, a farmer who loved food and entertaining friends. Gerald used to organise the run and it would end with a slap up meal at his farm. To honour this fantastic member the club maintains a run named after him, which has to involve a good meal. This year two members from the neighbouring county of Lincolnshire Dale and Gavin organised the run. Gavin being a historian, with a passion for the industrial revolution, used his knowledge for the run and it was based on a railway theme as 2025 marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of modern railways, with the Stockton and Darlington opening on 27th September 1825. Definite highlights, Fakenham Gasworks Museum and Adams talk at Bure Valley Railway Station And a wonderful day was had by all
