Wife's heels post graduation old cracked peeling flaking time to join other garbage sandals in trash

these heels have been in closet for years, I bet 20 years old these are and I wanted to see if wife would pick out cute wedges or jelly heel to wear cause it showed rain for graduation ceremony. she picked out these ones and I was like whatever your just sitting and some walking. well we had to walk far on concrete and parking lot to get to end of line and I saw her looking down as there shoes a few times, guess the heels were crumbling a little and felt weird. I didn't see anything but when we got home i saw the instep was rubbed away and heels were cracked some with pieces gone and black part that is glued on heel was pulled away. I didn't say anything but seeing them I'm just going to throw them in garbage and see if she notices or says where are they, I'll say gone into trash like they are.
