During this intensive weekend of steam, all three iconic Rheidol Tanks – No. 7 “Owain Glyndŵr” (BR Lined Green), No. 8 “Llywelyn” (BR Black with Lion-and-Wheel Crest), and No. 9 “Prince of Wales” (BR Blue) – ran together in authentic BR liveries, joined by NGG13 Garratt No. 60 “Drakensberg” for added power and variety.
