Les Jardins du marais de Yves Gillen en Avril (partie 2)
In this second episode, I'll continue our tour of the Marais Gardens, this time on the west side of the garden. Together, we'll discover the progress of the trees and the plantings we made in 2024, such as the famous potato bed we planted at the end of the season with mustard and phacelia to regenerate the soil. It's an opportunity to take stock of the successes, the surprises... and the small adjustments needed. As a reminder, Yves Gillen has been without a landline since the storms this winter. He can now be reached on his cell phone, every day between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., at +33 6 82 06 65 80. The garden is open for visits starting Easter weekend, every day from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., at 1 Chemin du Mintre, Les Jardins du Marais, 44410 Herbignac. And this year, we won't be continuing our regular visits to Yves's garden, as we did in 2024. Given the rhythm of the garden, its actions, and its cycles, we prefer to make room for other projects. But if you're new to this world, I invite you to (re)watch the videos filmed throughout the past year. They retrace the garden's evolution month by month and Yves's precious teachings, combining experiments, observations, and the poetry of life. That said, I'm offering a very simple initiative to participate in this adventure: if you visit the Jardins du Marais, feel free to take photos or videos of what inspires you, then share them on your social media, tagging us. On Facebook: Pépinières Grandiflora and on TikTok and Instagram @pepinieresgrandiflora. On Facebook, don't forget to share publicly when posting. For our part, we'll be responsible for re-sharing your content and compiling it in a future special video: "Through the seasons with Yves Gillen: by subscribers." Garden well!
