In the first episode of “Prayers of Resistance,” we hear from Nora Garner-Sinclair, LCSW. As a therapist and mother in Louisville, Kentucky, she helps us imagine how resilience in our own self care influences the health of the communities of which we are a part. Pull up a seat! Nora Gardner-Sinclair is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works as a therapist and the manager of the intern program at Creative Family Counseling. She specializes in trauma-focused therapy with clients of all ages and loves to work with parents and caregivers who want to better understand and support their children and themselves. Originally from Texas, Nora moved to Louisville with her husband Kevin in 2018 when he was called as the senior pastor of Broadway Baptist Church. They have two sons, Hank (5) and Rex (2).
