You're with your friends on a lunch break laughing and joking away when you decide to go get a drink from a vending machine. While on the way you pass by the class quiet kid who keeps themselves to themselves, at a quick glance he's sat alone on a bench reading. You felt for her being by herself most of the time but any time you'd tried to involve her she'd simply decline polity and excuse herself.
