Costa Cálida Camper Roadtrip 🚐 | Portman-Katastrophe, Cartagena, La Azohia & Traumstrände

In this video, I'll take you along on my campervan road trip along the Costa Cálida. I start with a hike in Portman and am surprised by the black sand on the beach – this is how I learn about the tragic Portman disaster, where iron ore mining contaminated the bay for decades. Next, I head to historic Cartagena, where I visit the Roman amphitheater, which was only discovered by chance in 1988 beneath modern buildings, and marvel at the free-roaming peacocks at the Castillo de la Concepción. Afterward, I spend a few relaxing days in the idyllic La Azohía, going out on the sea on a SUP, snorkeling, and enjoying the underwater world. Finally, I head to the stunning Playa del Arroz – perfect for hiking and simply unwinding.
