Unusual Rover 25 1.8 CVT: a Longbridge gem for just £500!

I recently purchased this Rover 25 1.8 CVT - at risk of being scrapped I was keen to make sure she went to a good home. Sporting a very unusual (and incredibly plush!) interior, Mini R50 alloy wheels along with rather fetching British Racing Green paintwork, let's take a first look at this little slice of Longbridge goodness. The 1.8L 16v K Series engine means she's surprisingly nippy, too - even with an odometer showing 97,000 miles. While often maligned, the automatic gearbox fitted to these is usually fairly reliable in cars that have reached this age - weaker examples tended to fail much earlier in life and with less than 50,000 miles on the clock in my experience.
