The woman was sleeping in a paper recycling container. After emptying the container into the truck, the operator heard her screams. Firefighters from the Community of Madrid, along with a nurse from SUMMA 112 (Madrid's emergency medical service), entered the container to stabilize and rescue the woman, hoisting her up with a ladder truck. The woman sustained serious injuries and was transported to La Princesa Hospital by a SUMMA 112 ambulance.
