Tradition and innovation combine in Michael John Trotta's a cappella setting of the iconic Ave Verum Corpus. The text was made famous by Mozart and Byrd, and beginning with a plainchant melody, the work gently unfolds to reveal beautiful harmonies and expressive vocal lines.
