A group of anarchists gathered in Rome, near the Parco degli Acquedotti, to lay flowers and commemorate Sara Ardizzone and Alessandro Mercogliano, their comrades killed in a bomb explosion inside a farmhouse. The group decided to gather in front of the church of San Policarpo, despite the ban. A large police presence was deployed, including mounted officers. The anarchists were then escorted to a police bus and taken to the police headquarters.
