"Culinary Nightmare/Missing Food," Director: John Rich, Writers: Jesse Goldstein, Sherwood Schwartz, Lou Derman. Brad calls Joan with a last-minute dinner invite for an important colleague, and then calls back and adds the colleague's wife. Joan has only ingredients for a candlelit dinner-for-two, so she tries to stretch the meal by watering down the soup, blowing up creampuffs with a bicycle pump, and rolling out a fish. Dinner's a disaster so they try to make it up next day with a picnic. A dog jumps in the basket and eats all the food. Joan steals the basket of a nearby foursome by "swinging by."
