VENEZUELA: el país que nos CAMBIÓ y nos ayudó a sanar el ALMA!

The Gran Sabana in Venezuela was the last and most exciting leg of our adventure through this country. After three months traveling through Venezuela, we took the challenging Highway 10 towards the Gran Sabana, Santa Elena de Uairén, and the border with Brazil. It was one of those extreme road trips filled with mud, rain, tepuis, destroyed roads, and human encounters that completely changed our perspective on this country. We entered Venezuela counting checkpoints and terrified. We left counting friends. In this chapter, Gordachov faces one of the toughest roads of our entire South American journey. We crossed mining towns, the Sierra de Lema, the Piedra de la Virgen (Virgin's Rock), and a Gran Sabana that seemed to change its weather every ten minutes. But the real journey happened within: each person who helped us planted a small seed, a "mustard seed," that ended up blooming just when we had to say goodbye. We had been told many times not to come. However, we found hospitality, beauty, friendship, and a way of welcoming strangers that we will never forget. This isn't just a video about tourism in Venezuela. It's a story about prejudice, difficult paths, and people capable of opening their doors to you as if you were part of their family. 00:00 They told us traveling to Venezuela was a bad idea 00:32 Back on the road and starting all over again 01:24 Last 138 kilometers in Venezuela 02:22 The challenging Highway 10 04:32 The people who pave the way for you 06:05 My little contribution 06:55 Fear returned 08:17 Venezuela healed us 08:54 We entered the Gran Sabana 09:55 The tepuis and the last light 10:22 We entered counting checkpoints, we left counting friends 11:58 Preview of our last chapter in Venezuela What place were you told not to visit that ended up being unforgettable?
