Serenade Of Havana (Fragancia) - Dave Williams

Evert Axel Taube (12 March 1890 - 31 January 1976) was a Swedish author, artist, composer and singer. More Information on my Blog page: http://dave-williams-online.blogspot.... I've tried to create a translation from the original Swedish lyric that stays as close as possible to the original. I hope I've come somewhere close. My sincerest thanks go to my good friend Lisa, for all the help she gave me in trying to gain a better understanding of the song. I couldn't have done it without her help. The music for this piece was created by me, using the Yamaha e413 keyboard. (No guitars were harmed in the making of this song). Serenade In Havana (Fragancia) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - In Cuban nights, a voice from home, Estancia. In rose-filled air, your sweet memory, speaks unto me. Softly warm breezes carry your scent, Fragancia. Whispering words of love, that you used to, say to me. Loneliness is a way of life, for me, my dear. Though you are gone, the scent of you, still lingers here. Here in my heart I'll hold the love that we, once knew. Fragrance of flowers remind me always, of you . . . Oh, my darling I . . . Try to forget, but still my tears are falling, Hiding away I hear your sweet voice calling. Heaven knows how, the flowers hold your memory, Moon going down . . . there's nothing more left for me.
