EP 40 - Exploring MON town, Visit to CHI Village | Nagaland | 2022

Nagaland is the 16th state of India🇮🇳 since the year 1963 ¶ ✓ Special Thanks to Brother Aman and Atai for touring us around Mon and Chi Village. Chi village is one of the oldest village under Mon district of Nagaland, 8KM away from Mon Town. ✓ The tribe who belongs to Mon are called "Konyak Naga". ✓ Konyak Nagas are famous for having Angh (King)/ Chief of Village in each major village, therefore Mon is also known as 'Land of Anghs' ('Land of Kings') ✓ Konyak Nagas are brave warrior and in their dialect warriors are called "NAOMEI". 'NAOMEI' was/is a person who had slaughtered an enemy head, meaning he was/is a head hunter. ¶ In this tour, I am traveling Nagaland as a budget traveller to learn based on my curiosity. I am meeting new people to learn more and to be more polite (respect) towards them😊 I am trying Hitchhike as well as staying at people's home to limit my expenses.
