Clag, Hail, Sun & Tornado at Ais Gill (28 March 2026)
Footage from Ais Gill on 28 March 2026, with 34067 Tangmere working the Cumbrian Mountain Express and 60163 Tornado working the Shap Mountaineer, around 90 minutes later. Viewed from above Ais Gill, the stream, and Ais Gill viaduct. The day brought periods of intense sunshine interspersed with sharp, wintry showers - brilliant to experience if a tad cold at times. The tours were run and promoted by Railway Touring Company/West Coast Railways and A1 Steam Locomotive Trust/Vintage Trains.
