What started as a simple vehicle slowly turned into my own tiny secret base on wheels. But more importantly, I talk about why I started sleeping in my car in the first place. Years ago, I left Fukushima and spent two weeks traveling alone across Japan in a Subaru Legacy wagon. That trip changed the way I saw freedom, travel, and solitude. This van is the result of everything I've learned since then. No luxury. No expensive camper build.
