The Land Rover Defender Panterra Rica Handbuilt in Amsterdam, and certainly not in an easy way. What a fantastic machine. We drove the Defender Panterra Rica in Mallorca, because we were there filming for the RTL4 program "De Mooiste Wegen" (The Most Beautiful Roads). The steering is fantastic there. But not with an original, classic Defender; it won't turn a corner. Until it was modified in Amsterdam. There, they developed a suspension that suddenly makes the Defender steer properly. Air suspension or steel springs are available, depending on preference. The air suspension, under the Rica, creates a bit more comfort. You have a choice, just as you have a choice of drivetrain. A powerful V8, in various versions, or an electric drivetrain. The latter is downright innovative, with in-wheel technology. Each wheel has its own electric motor, with a total of over 600 hp, and a battery of approximately 180 kWh provides the power. In short, a revolutionary car, truly beautifully built, made of fantastic materials, wrapped in its original packaging. It's a bit pricey, but you'll have something truly unique.
