This is a gameplay video of "Ace Combat 8: Wings of Thieves," scheduled for release on October 2, 2026. "Ace Combat 8: Wings of Thieves" is the first title in the series in approximately seven years since "Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown," released in 2019. Set on the Usea continent ten years after the previous game, the story follows a "fake hero" who inherits the name of the "Wings of Thieves," a symbol of hope, as he faces a desperate war. In addition to the exhilarating aerial combat that is characteristic of the series, the game features dramatic presentation using a first-person perspective and realistic sky rendering by Cloudly, resulting in an ace pilot experience that is "realistic yet easy to play." This video features footage from Mission 9, which was playable at the 1st Look demo event. It includes a thrilling battle against a land battleship.
