To me it's "the" weapon of Ryo Sabea from the manga City Hunter before anything else. Lately, it's also known to be the weapon of choice of Rick in The Walking Dead (in the TV Show at least). This replica is made by Tanaka, a Japanese brand known to make replicas with very good finish. But they're also very expensive. The Tanaka Python is no exception. The finish is really good and it feels really nice in hands. It feels sturdy, it feels heavy, despite the use of plastic (Japanese airsoft brands can't produce full metal handguns according to Japanese laws). The performances... Well, are average. Nothing really fancy about this. Not to mention the mechanism (called the "Pegasus" system) is kind of weird. You have to use a rallonge to connect your bottle of gas with the cylinder of the gun, and there is also a spring system putting bbs in each chamber of the cylinder. Dernièrement, il est aussi connu pour être l'arme de choix de Rick dans The Walkind Dead (dans la série TV du moins). Cette réplique est fabriquée par Tanaka, une marque japonaise connue pour produire des répliques avec une très bonne finition. Mais qui sont aussi très chères. Le Python Tanaka n'est pas une exception. Très très bonne finition, et il est très agréable à prendre en mains. Il donne une impression de solidité et il est assez lourd, malgré l'emploi de plastique (les marques japonaises n'ont pas le droit de produire des répliques de poing full metal). Les performances... Sont moyennes. Rien d'incroyable à ce sujet. De plus, il utilise un mécanisme (le fameux système "Pegasus") assez étrange. Il faut utiliser une rallonge de façon à connecter une bouteille de gaz avec le barillet de la réplique, qui contient également un système à ressort qui place une bille dans chacune des chambres du barillet. Pas une réplique facile à recharger.
