Tamayorihime is a goddess appearing in ancient Japanese mythology. She is revered as a goddess of love, safe childbirth, parenting, water, and divine mediumship. Goddess of Marriage & Prosperity: She raised Ugayafukiaezu-no-Mikoto, son of her sister Toyotama-hime, then later married him and gave birth to Emperor Jimmu — the first emperor of Japan. Goddess of Safe Childbirth: Having assisted her sister's childbirth and borne a divine child herself, she became a symbol of fertility and maternal protection. Goddess of Water: As the daughter of the sea deity Watatsumi and younger sister of Toyotama-hime, she holds deep connections to water and purification.
