"The Stories of Three People" gives us the incites of three individuals who had there own dealings in the early morning hours just prior to Pauline being killed. Lavon Plunk, Pauline's best friend told of taking Pauline home that night and waiting for her and the children to come out when Buford arrived at home. a shot was fired and Lavon, fearing for her life left the area. Diane Vance would tell people that she heard a "pop" and then saw Buford carry Pauline to his car. Arnie Hardy, today's guest was of those she told her story to. Ward Moore, the the McNairy County Coroner told a story of being dispatched to the Pusser residence by Carl Pusser in those same early morning hours to stop a fight between Buford and Pauline. In this window of less than three hours, these three people became a part of one of Tennessee's most notable murder cases.
