QIDI Q2 - QIDI Box Review...The Good, Bad and Very Ugly, my true thoughts

Unboxing & First Look: Qidi Q2 and Qidi box ‪@QIDITech‬ In this video, I take a deep dive into the Qidi Q2 3D printer along with the Qidi Box multi-colour system, sharing my real-world experience after putting both through their paces. Starting with the Qidi Q2, I was genuinely impressed with its performance as a standalone machine. Printing in single colour, the Q2 delivered consistently clean results with solid layer adhesion, good detail, and reliable print quality right out of the box. For anyone looking for a dependable, straightforward 3D printing experience, the Q2 definitely holds its own. However, things took a turn when introducing the Qidi Box for multi-colour printing. While the concept is exciting, my experience was unfortunately far from smooth. I encountered frequent print failures, most of which seemed to stem from retraction issues. Filament handling became inconsistent, leading to jams, misfeeds, and ultimately failed prints. Instead of enhancing the workflow, the Qidi Box added a layer of frustration that made multi-colour printing unreliable in its current state. If you're considering either of these products, I’d recommend the Qidi Q2 for single-colour projects, but approach the Qidi Box with caution until further improvements are made.
