“We Changed Our Plans… Again (10 Hour Vanlife Day 😅)”

This one’s all about the journey… and a fair few last-minute decisions 😅 We start out chasing lakes near the Spanish border, stopping off at the stunning 📍 Lake Sariñena before heading to the unexpected gem that is 📍 Castle Coca. Not quite what we planned… but worth it? You decide. As always, plans change (again 🙈) and we find ourselves heading towards the 📍 Pyrenees, taking on some seriously crazy mountain roads that test both the van and our nerves. After a long day on the road, we reach one of our favourite stops yet at 📍 Le Pont du Moudang, tucked away deep in the mountains. We then slow things right down at the beautiful 📍 Saint-Ferréol Lake and cascades, taking a moment to breathe after the chaos. We also break down the real cost of fuel so far on this trip — because let’s be honest, vanlife isn’t always as cheap as it looks! And just when we think we’ve got a plan… we change our minds again and start heading towards 📍 Cahors — with a stop at one of the most beautiful villages in France, 📍 Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. Perched high above the Lot River, it’s the kind of place that feels almost unreal… and the perfect place where we finally meet up with our friend from the UK after weeks on the road 🚐✨ Vanlife reality — a bit messy, a bit unpredictable… but always an adventure.
