The assay is designed to measure levels of human IgG without distinguishing between subclasses, making it ideal for a wide range of research applications. After binding to a capture antibody on the microtiter plate, a horseradish peroxidase-labeled polyclonal anti-human IgG antibody is added. Following washing steps, TMB substrate is added for color development, which is read at 450 nm. The color intensity directly correlates with the IgG concentration in the sample.
