50数年前の鳥栖、早岐の蒸気機関車を辿ってみました

I'm visiting Tosu Station for the first time in over 50 years. Tosu Station once had a vast locomotive depot and developed as a railway town. However, with the passage of time, the depot and marshalling yard became unnecessary, and all of the extensive railway facilities were removed, leaving no trace of their former selves. A monument to the Tosu Marshalling Yard has been erected in the park on the site. Tosu Station is currently undergoing a comprehensive urban plan, and an overpass will be built from the platform parallel to the current Rainbow Bridge overpass, connecting it at the top, and a new ticket gate will be installed, dramatically improving access to the platform from the east side. I've been to Tosu Locomotive Depot, Kyuragi, Imari Garage, and Saki Locomotive Depot. This is a memoir of my visit.
