Final FLDS follower of Sam Bateman sentenced in sex trafficking scheme
Torrance Bistline, the last follower of self-proclaimed FLDS prophet Samuel Bateman, was sentenced to 35 years in prison for his role in the sex trafficking scheme. Bistline was the person in charge of managing the scheme’s finances. He was a successful businessman who provided Bateman with luxury cars and paid his legal fees.
