A REGENERAÇÃO PELO USO - EPISÓDIO 5 - Como gerar biomassa com densidade nutricional.

We can only succeed when we practice process-oriented agriculture, when we choose not only the right plants, but also the correct intercropping systems. The first step is to know which plants grow well in our region. The second step is to build intercropping systems with these plants. But we can only achieve this if we have a keen sense of observation, and nowadays this is something that often needs to be relearned and developed. How to do it? Live in the present moment with an attentive mind; walking through the field we may be stepping on the solution to our problem: generating biomass with nutritional density! And we can only achieve this if we sow plants that know how to cope with low soil fertility and show this in their exuberant growth. We walk through the field with this focus, our minds don't wander, our gaze doesn't falter, we continue our search with a single question: what plants can I include in my agroecosystem capable of generating a lot of biomass and creating the trees of the next succession? In addition to bibliographic research and information exchange, like Sherlock Holmes, we evaluate each possibility, discarding nothing, until, after field tests, we have the chosen plants with the following characteristics: they remain green for a good part of the year, accept pruning and regrow strongly, produce a lot of biomass, and grow in poor soil.
