David Torn at the Fretboard Journal
On the morning of May 18, 2015, composer, and producer David Torn stopped by the Fretboard Journal magazine to perform a couple of improvised tunes for us at our Seattle offices. He's playing his Ronin Mirari which has been customized with one of Torn's Interruptulators in the pickguard. Torn uses a variety of effects. On this tune he was playing through borrowed Bogner Goldfinger 69 and a Fryette Sig:X amplifiers. For more photos, go to: http://www.fretboardjournal.com/video... Look for a longer feature on Torn and his gear on fretboardjournal.com soon. And be sure to check out Torn's 2015 album on ECM entitled 'only sky.'
