Besides drones, the National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology (NCSIST) has also begun investing in the research and development of "military robot dogs." Today (2nd), they showcased the performance of three robot dogs for the first time, capable of performing inspection, reconnaissance, and strike missions. NCSIST stated that they have already made contact with the Marine Corps and the Coast Guard, and in the future, they can further integrate information with unmanned vehicles and drones to leverage the integrated benefits of 3D combat. NCSIST has also established a joint laboratory and a "non-red supply chain" in cooperation with the United States to facilitate production in Taiwan, striving for early mass production.
