PHOTOGRAPHY IN THE AGE OF TOO MUCH

What happens when photography becomes overly abundant? We have never taken more pictures. Billions are made every day. Every moment documented. Every meal captured. Every event archived. Access is a gift. But over abundance changes how we value things. When images are everywhere, how do we differentiate? How do we choose? And what does that mean for those of us who practice photography as an art? In this video, I explore the tension between democratization and overproduction — and suggest a simple experiment between two people. If you try it, I would genuinely like to hear about your experience in the comments. – Ken SITE FOR FREE PRINTS: https://www.freeprintsnow.com/ Music by Wanderer's Trove / For Far Too Long / courtesy of www.epidemicsound.com.
