A "Kalut" is a sand mountain created by wind and erosion over hundreds of millions of years, making fascinating forms and shapes in an area that was once the OCEAN! Follow me as I go on a 4x4 Adventure Tour through the desert to find more than just the "LUTS" and sand dunes - I actually discover a WATERFALL in the DESERT! You can reach the Lut Desert as a day trip from Kerman, Iran, but I recommend taking more time and staying in Shahdad, Iran which is much closer and has some interesting things to do and places to see as well. In Shahdad, I discovered the remains of an abandoned desert mansion and take you along to show you what I found! The Loot Desert was one of my FAVORITE DESTINATIONS from my 24 DAYS In IRAN.
