Exploring Brazil on two wheels is always a box of surprises, but what we found on the Rota do Lagarto, in Espírito Santo, exceeded all expectations! 🏍️💨 In today's episode of Destino Incerto, we take our Africa Twin to explore the charms of Domingos Martins and the imposing Pedra Azul region. Get ready for a route that mixes haute cuisine, winding roads, and that adrenaline that only those who experience motorcycle touring know. Our journey begins with a hearty (and fitness, according to Nai! 😂) breakfast before tackling the curves of the famous route. The cloudy weather was perfect for riding, but the road always holds challenges. We passed by the tourist information center to understand why this region is considered the "Brazilian Tuscany" and discovered that agritourism in Venda Nova do Imigrante and the surrounding area is much more organized than we imagined. 🇮🇹 One of the highlights was the visit to the Sun Madness distillery. We entered the world of artisanal spirits — from vodka to oak-aged rum. While Nai did the "difficult" task of tasting, I just got to smell it, since motorcycles and alcohol don't mix! 🚫🍹 In addition, we took the opportunity to announce an incredible new course: the Garupa Atitude course, focused on teaching essential techniques for those who travel as passengers, ensuring more safety and comfort on adventure trips. But it wasn't all roses (or Venda Nova strawberries!). We took the wrong turn and ended up on steep climbs where our riding technique was put to the test. I explain in the video how to master the Africa Twin on rough terrain to prevent it from becoming a passenger "catapult"! 😅 To top it all off, we visited the Alecrim restaurant.
