📖 The Life That Wins | Ep. 2 — The Christian Life As Revealed in Scripture "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ." — Ephesians 1:3 Every spiritual blessing. Already given. Already yours. In Christ. So why does your experience so often tell a different story? In Chapter 2, Watchman Nee turns from diagnosing our failure to laying out God's case. Verse by verse — nine passages of Scripture — he shows us the life God has not merely suggested but actually ordained for every born-again believer. Not for special Christians. Nine facets of the life God has ordained: ① Free from sins (Matthew 1:21) — saved FROM sin, not merely forgiven OF sin ② Intimate communion (Luke 1:74–75) — serving in holiness all our days ③ Wholly satisfied (John 4:14) — a well springing up, not thirsty for the world ④ Full of influence (John 7:37–38) — rivers of living water flowing out ⑤ Free from sin's power (Acts 3:26) — turned from iniquities ⑥ Dead to sin (Romans 6:1–14) — sin shall NOT have dominion over you ⑦ Without condemnation (Romans 8:1) — no weakness; the Spirit sets us free ⑧ More than conquerors (Romans 8:35–37) — in ALL circumstances, not some ⑨ Practising good (Ephesians 2:10) — created for good works God prepared Nee's verdict, drawn from Scripture, is both simple and devastating: "The Bible is right, and our experience is wrong." The question this episode puts before you is not whether this life is real. It is.
