Civitavecchia the pre roman city on the hill arpino Italy

When visiting Arpino to check out the real estate, I was able to visit Civitavecchia... not to be confused with the beachside community north west of Rome. Civitavecchia was established before Rome and became part of the Roman tapestry only after its people were conquered. I imagine they were among the first since this hilltop ruin of a community is just over an hours drive from the Italian capital.
