Alicia Edmund is head of public policy for the Evangelical Alliance and leads the advocacy team’s parliamentary engagement. She has worked on a range of issues including: asylum resettlement, refugee integration, poverty relief and religious freedom in the UK and overseas. Recently Alicia has been deeply involved in conversations on the rise of Christian Nationalism in the UK, helping policy makers and churches understand and engage with the use (and at times misuse) of Christian language and symbols in rallies, protests and politics.
