"Musculoskeletal disorders, in sports medicine, after injuries, also as a preventative treatment, for pain relief, anti-inflammatory effects, mood improvement, and muscle relaxation," says Tomasz Kabała, of the "Creator" Prevention and Rehabilitation Center in Wrocław. It's also a great treatment for multiple sclerosis, anxiety, and depression. Cryotherapy helped Elżbieta after surgery. "The chamber got me back on my feet after my first hip replacement surgery, restored proper circulation, and relieved pain, allowing me to fully recover," says Elżbieta Pietkiewicz, a patient. The procedure is performed by staff. Doctors refer patients for this type of treatment. "There's a microphone and a camera inside. We breathe calmly, and when our hands get cold, we raise them. After we leave, we take off our socks and hats and go for a bike ride," says physiotherapist Aleksander Paszkiewicz. Patients exercise for at least 30 minutes, but the duration of the exercises usually depends on the patient's condition and overall physical fitness," adds Tomasz Kabała, from the "Creator" Prevention and Rehabilitation Center in Wrocław.
