Copyrighted (c) 2026 The Portside Pair Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey In an old port town lived two brothers Identical twins you wouldn’t pick from each other Growing up they liked to play tricks They’d get away messing with the other kids Throughout the years they learned to thrive Learned to swindle from the rich with lies They’d use their appearance to take silver, gold They were cunning, swift, smart and quite bold Hey! Ho! They’re tricksters on the go Take what they want without care Oh Oh They’ll trick you into playing their games devil boys with faces and no names From dock to dock, tavern to tavern They’ll leave you poor under the lanterns If you bet against them they won’t play fair Merchants know them as The Portside Pair Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey Today their target was an old tavern inn Lanterloo was their card choice they would win One would hide while the other pretended to drink They’d make their victim really have to think stepped in that tavern and eyed a pirate gold on his fingers they wanted to try it One twin winked as he started to walk Said to that pirate “You a betting man or just all talk?” That captain looked up and smiled at that man Said “What ye suggest boy? What’s ye plan?” pulled out a deck of cards from his coat Said “if I win, then I take your crew and ye boat” Hey! Ho! They’re tricksters on the go Take what they want without care Oh Oh They’ll trick you into playing their games devil boys with faces and no names From dock to dock, tavern to tavern They’ll leave you poor under the lanterns If you bet against them they won’t play fair Merchants know them as The Portside Pair Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey He laughed and said “Alright I’m game?” “if I win you’re my deck scrubber in the rain” He shuffled the cards, sat down in his chair Diverting attention from his twin at the bar there As the cards played out, his twin tapped a mug Telling him the pirates cards with a shrug After 3 rounds, the captain had lost He pounded his fists anger burning hot “You’re a CHEATER!” he yelled pulling his knife “Calm down lad it’s just a game alright You know the rules now I take your old ship” “Bilge RAT!” He upended the table over it Hey! Ho! They’re tricksters on the go Take what they want without care Oh Oh They’ll trick you into playing their games devil boys with faces and no names From dock to dock, tavern to tavern They’ll leave you poor under the lanterns If you bet against them they won’t play fair Merchants know them as The Portside Pair Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey Rum flew wild into the open air Tavern owner yelled “Settle down over there!” The captain swung his sword and cut the table Then a fight broke out between the drunk and able One twin shouted “brother! Let’s go!” The other followed while the distraction flowed As they ran towards the open door A tankard smashed against the wall "I'll get you!" The captain screamed loud But he slipped on the rum, fell and howled They slipped out and ran down to the dock Laughing hard with how close it got Hey! Ho! They’re tricksters on the go Take what they want without care Oh Oh They’ll trick you into playing their games devil boys with faces and no names From dock to dock, tavern to tavern They’ll leave you poor under the lanterns If you bet against them they won’t play fair Merchants know them as The Portside Pair They saw the black flag, she was empty on board They hoisted the sails and set sail on their course floated away then heard screams from the dock The captain was cursing near the rocks Both twins looked at each other, gave a smile They’d sail for days and not dock for a while They enjoyed their tricks and playing unfair They're known as the portside pair!!! Hey! Ho!
