I set off on a motorcycle trip into the rustic yet warm countryside scenery I hadn't encountered in a long while. It is a peaceful rural village, but the price of gasoline was surprisingly high. However, a whole watermelon for 5,000 Kip (about 350 won)... Is this really the standard price? The fruit was incredibly cheap. A fantastic ride through every nook and cranny of the village, stretching toward Vang Vieng and Luang Prabang! However, I really do not recommend traveling during the slash-and-burn farming season! I wandered around looking for late-night snacks and intended to find a pub or a place with a live band... but a place like this in this countryside? Into the club where all the young people of Khasi, Laos gather! Once the sun sets, Khasi reveals a completely different face. Youthful energy that makes a quiet rural village buzz!
