Sizing the Electrical System: Part 18 – RAM Promaster 2500 Van Conversion

Hey All, welcome to episode 18 of our RAM Promaster 2500 van build/conversion series. Today, we move to the electrical system of the van. We are just getting to where we will purchase some of the electrical items (and they ain’t cheap), so we want to make sure we choose the right ones. We start by figuring out the power draws of all our AC and DC devices on the van. Then we figure out the number of hours per day well be using them. With those 2 values, we can get a total electrical need per day. That helps us get everything sized just right. Not sure of the equations, or how the math works? No worries…..we’ll take you through each bit of it…..and you’ll see it’s easier than you thought. Like we always say… If we can do it, YOU can do it .
