14 Years of Watercolor... Then I Tried Gouache!

I've been painting with transparent watercolors for over 14 years... but today, I'm stepping completely out of my comfort zone. In this video, I try gouache for the very first time using the Caran d'Ache Gouache Studio set. I share my first impressions, experiment with color mixing, paint a few simple studies, and compare the experience with watercolor. Was it easier than watercolor? More difficult? Did I enjoy it enough to keep using it? Join me as I explore a brand-new medium with fresh eyes. Sometimes the best way to grow as an artist is to become a beginner again. If you've ever been curious about gouache, I hope this video encourages you to give it a try too! 💬 Have you painted with gouache before? I'd love to hear your tips and experiences in the comments!
