Wymiana łożyska rotora na turbinie wiatrowej FWT 2500.

Get a close-up look at engineering on a macro scale! Working at an altitude of 100 meters requires not only courage but, above all, precision, excellent planning, and a well-coordinated team. Thanks to drone footage, you can follow one of the most demanding maintenance processes in wind energy, step by step. Replacing the main bearing on a 2.5 MW FWT 2500 turbine located at the Kietrz wind farm near Głubczyce and Racibórz (Poland). The turbine's height and blade diameter are 100 meters. To replace the bearing, we removed the entire rotor, including the blades, bearing, and rotor clutch, weighing approximately 70 tons in total. The rotor blades were also inspected and repaired on the ground. A new Eolotec MBU 2500 TV Main Bearing Unit was installed. The crane services were performed by a large Demag CC 2800 crane (lifting capacity up to 600 tons) from "Dźwigi Pomorze" and a small auxiliary crane from "Sołtys." The work was carried out by "Wind Services" Przemysław Sołtan. Tel. +48 784 049 481.
